The Rundown: The Ultimates are called together to deal with both dissention in the ranks and a lack of transparency regarding their goals.

Tony calls the rest of the team in to confront Doom about the fact that his actions caused a branch in their timeline and some of them remember what really happened when they confronted Banner, especially their deaths at his hands. To make matters worse, Tony begins to question if Doom’s plan to rescue them was delayed by his own secret plans to bring back his family.
As the team discusses the reality of what they are facing, Cap steps up to bring a different perspective. One that will showcase members of the team making progress in different ways. As the Ultimates decide on a new way forward with time running out, one of them will pay a visit to the enemy.
The Story: Camp crafts an engaging and compelling story in this issue. It brilliantly lays out some clear divisions in the team while also showcasing just how dangerous those divisions can be. I like that there are still cracks in this group that can be exploited and how the story uses one of those cracks to add more mystery and suspense to the series. I cannot wait to see what new threads are pulled as this series continues.
The Art: Frigeri delivers powerful, beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and how brilliantly it captures the darker tone and mood of the story.
